GRC Bangalore is the glass fibre reinforced concrete division of RJ Interiors & Constructions. We design, manufacture and install custom GRC/GFRC architectural elements, from a single carved bracket to the complete facade of a building.

Our manufacturing unit

Everything starts in our unit in Bangalore: mould making, mixing, casting, curing, finishing and dispatch. Our work sits between architecture and engineering: elements have to look right on the elevation, and be made, lifted and fixed properly.

What GRC is

Concrete made with fine sand instead of coarse aggregate, and reinforced throughout with alkali-resistant glass fibre instead of steel bars. It can be cast thin, holds fine detail, and has no steel to rust.

  • Cement

    Grey or white Portland cement, the binder.

  • Fine sand

    Graded silica sand, much finer than concrete aggregate, for crisp detail.

  • AR glass fibre

    Alkali-resistant glass fibres that reinforce the whole section.

  • Admixtures

    Polymers and plasticisers that improve workability and curing.
